Hi, I’m Evie!
This is somewhat of an experiment for me.
I’ve always been a reader, looking at others reviews of books that interested me or ones I’d just read, but not always giving my own feedback.
Until I decided I wanted to share my thoughts and began using GoodReads and Fable to give my own ratings and reviews. I’ve even done a little on Instagram, trying my hand at posting bookish content.
I’ve enjoyed lending my perspective, spotlighting the books I love, and giving honest feedback that might align with others reading taste. I hope it helps others when they are choosing their next read, to commiserate on a frustrating read, or share the enjoyment of a love read.
There have been times I wish I could add even more – to rant or gush about a particular book without the limitations of a review. So I decided to now try my hand at blogging.
I see this as a bookish journal for me – a mix of review, rants, loves, books I’m excited for, sharing thoughts on certain books as I’m reading them, and whatever else is on my mind.
No real structure, just a space to share my thoughts and keep track of my reading journey.
